An ostrich emerges to remind us that each moment is a gift, and it is important to honour that gift by staying present. Through evolution, the ostrich chose to run instead of fly in order to stay connected with their feet firmly on the ground. Learning from the ostrich, we should ground ourselves in this moment. The ostrich chooses to bury it’s head in Mother Earth to clear negative energies, and we too can allow ourselves time to connect with the sacred and clear negativity. Give yourself permission to experience the negative without fear. Ask yourself where the energies are coming from, then release them. Denial of negative emotions or energies will not serve you. Your best self will thrive if you allow yourself the time and space to expel negativity. When negativity is cleared, it allows light to shine in.
